Summer 2018 was hottest as a record.
Whilst we are experiencing cold winter, this year's Summer in Japan was scorching hot. Some areas have temperatures that hit 40C. They experenced three typhoons across the nation.
Japanese High School Baseball Championship
甲子園 Koshien is the national baseball competition, where 47 high schools from each district compete each other. This year celebrated its 100th competition, and Osaka Toin won the Grand Championship with the score of 13-2, with Akita Kanaashi Agricultural High School coming in second place.
